The sun is finally out and so the winter clothes are put away and the legs and shorts are out. It's almost holiday season too. (FINALLY!) And with the change in seasons, comes some alternations in Lost in Talent, I've decided to share my online wardrobe (mostly to tumblr), by creating a collage of some of the beautiful things I wish I had in my wardrobe.
And slyly making outfits out of clothes I want so that when I do get them, I know what to pair them with. Avoiding the 'I have nothing to wear looking into a wardrobe full of clothes moment.'
We've all been in situations where you're invited out but not given an exact dress code (and if you haven't? Give it time). When something isn't dress coded, it's a bigger panic than the 'Oh I have nothing to wear -usually looking into a wardrobe full of clothes' moment. It's the 'what's appropriate for this' scare.
Last week, I was invited to dine with Chester based fashion retailer, The Editeur (who you'll be seeing more of on lostintalent) and friends. The night was a combination of great laughs, amazing people, delicious food and ample wine, topped off with a fashion showcase.
Sharing is caring! It is the basis of many relationships in my life. And the theme which Lostintalent is currently built on.So I guess I have to apologise for not caring, of late.
Back in January, when I made that extremely surreal journey to Dutchland! Yes, Amsterdam Fashion Week. I saw and fell head over heels in love with a brand called Gestuz.
Close Up from the Blow PR press day
Gestuz is the definition of what I am about right now, its all about an indie, rock star feel with extreme details-I'm talking beautiful beautiful use of leather and edge in design.
I was so far in lust with Gestuz that I decided not to share with you, because I wanted to get a piece before everyone else. Selfish. I know. But I've decided to share a few photos now (even though I am still Gestuz-less!)
